We are a small software development house established over ten years, seeking a competent FileMaker expert to assist in the handling of our clients' support issues and minor database development requests within existing applications.
Initially the tasks will be occasional and small, and it is anticipated that all work can easily be carried out by remote access. In most cases work can be carried out in the evenings or at weekends so the role may suit an employed person looking to develop further their existing FileMaker skills and possibly make a foray in to freelance work.
Applicants will be required to undergo a straightforward test, working by remote access on a test copy of an existing system to a simple client brief. We will be looking for elegant solutions to the problems posed, useful outcomes that fulfil the client's requirements, initiative shown and the clear documentation (for both the client and internal use) of the work carried out.
