Trade contact site
posted on 22/7/2007This site is intended to give homeowners the facility to post building and maintenance projects to which tradesmen who have registered with the site can respond by giving estimates or seeking further information.
I am looking for someone to build me a site with a lot of the functionality of a site like my elance or similar, where the tradesmen and project poster can discuss the project on a private message board while the project itself remains public until a estimate is accepted.
Projects will be posted by category and area.
Tradesmen will be registered by skill category and area.
Once a project has been posted tradesmen will be notified by sms (via gateway)that a project has been posted that matches the skill set and area that they have registered.
I will be supplying all images, but I will be looking for cooperation from who ever is awarded this project to help me make it visually appealing.
I would like the site built with php 5 using mysql for the database. The html & css must be compliant with www3 standards.
I would prefer to work with a single person preferably someone who has vision, can think outside of the box and is not afraid of getting their hands dirty.
This site is an urgent requirement but I will only accept realistic competitive bids. The successful applicant should be in a position to make a early start.
