Flash/AS/Flex Developer

A new resource is being sought for Flash/Flex development.

Flash/AS/Flex Developer

For the next set of development tasks and challenges, we are seeking a Flash/Actionscript/Flex developer, able to work remotely using his/her own equipment, communicating via telephone, email and MSN.

Key requirements

• Experience with Flex 2, traditional Flash (to Flash 9), Actionscript (to AS 3)
• Experience with MDM Zinc or other mechanisms to compile Flex-to-Executable on both PC and Mac
• Experience in developing Flex/Flash applications which use remote web services via HTTP GET/POST
• Access to both PC and Mac
• Able to work remotely within approximately office hours
• Good understanding of project management methodologies
• Experienced and comfortable working with other developers
• Fixed daily rate
• Able to provide at least two commercial referees

Commercial Arrangements

• Payment to be made monthly in arrears – invoice and time sheet required
• Must be billing from limited company or else show self-employment registration documentation
• Must be UK resident for tax purposes

Desirable

• Some knowledge of Java and/or PHP is useful
• Good understanding of general Internet application development; HTTP protocol etc

Ideally

• Located in UK
• Located within 100 miles of St Albans, Hertfordshire
• Able to attend fortnightly wash-up meetings in St Albans, Hertfordshire (time/date reasonably flexible)
