Company logo and website

posted on 26/8/2007

We are looking for a talented individual to design initially a website and logo for our new start-up company. More details of the exact type of company/product will be supplied upon application. We will also be requiring letterheads, business cards and complimentary slips, but not at this intial stage.

The website initially will include a homepage, a product page, basket and checkout page (experience of using systems such as ProtX, SecPay, Worldpay or Secure Trading required so the design is easily integrated into their payment pages). None of the physical coding is required, just the graphics file i.e. Photoshop or Fireworks file. The website is aimed at the customised car industry, so will need to be quite artistic.

Whats important to us:
- Good design skills
- Experience of working to W3C strict standards (the design will after all have to be converted into web pages)
- Good knowledge/experience of designing very 'usable' websites, i.e. good design/navigation etc

We do not require applicants to be local to us (Essex, UK), however someone that is a good communicator and above everything else easy to work with and get in touch with. We will find it difficult to work with freelancers that are on a completely different time zones, or only work weekends. If the website/business is succesful there will be an on-going need for design work, so again anyone looking for a one-off job to earn some extra £££'s will not be suitable for us.

With your email, please include examples of both logos and websites you have designed.

We are no longer accepting applications for this project.
