Web Projects Coordinatorposted on 24/10/2007The Enterprise Centre is looking for an experienced person with web project management experience to co-ordinate the delivery of two successful websites (www.ecca-london.org, www.own-it.org) by liaising with developers and other team members. The role will involve: • Developing specifications for the web sites including web applications (online advice system, reporting mechanisms). • Capturing processes and business rules and specifying web solutions to meet business needs. • Upload new content produced by other team members and external organisations (podcasts, video, documents). • Using knowledge of current web trends and developments and how they can push project forward. You will need to: • Understand issues involved in developing websites and web applications • Investigate technical problems with website and liaise with developers to find solutions. • Understand usability and information architecture requirements to deliver content to diverse user base including user-centred design. • Balancing project needs, co-worker needs, implementation costs and timescales. • Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns (web analytics) • Collate analytics and marketing activity for monthly report • Check existing web content for freshness & update or replace as necessary Skills and applications required: • Campaign Monitor • Content Management Systems • Fogbugz (or similar issue tracking system) • PBwiki (or another wiki system) • MS Office • Standards based HTML Please respond by attaching your CV and giving concrete example of projects that you have worked on where you have demonstrated using the above skills and experience to develop and manage the delivery of a reasonably complex web project.
