PHP/MySQL developer required
posted on 14/2/2008ProAcumen Ltd (a software development company based in Henley-on-Thames) is looking for the following:
A PHP/MySQL developer to work on an upgrade to an existing client system.
The contractor should have a minimum of 4/5 years experience using PHP/MySQL and in delivering robust web-enabled database system to medium/large organisations. This includes implementing intuitive front-ends (based on supplied designs), database design/management, ensuring servers and other technical infrastructure are optimised for the role. The contractor will have OO experience and will have programmed using stored procedures in the latest versions of PHP/MySQL.
The contract is for 2/3 months work, but previous contractors hired by ProAcumen have gone to work for us for over 3 years continuously on other projects.
The contractor should have their own development environment and work from their own premises. There will be some client contact (near Oxford) and occasional meetings at ProAcumen’s offices in Henley.
Ideally the contractor will live in the Oxford/Reading/High-Wycombe area.
ProAcumen is looking to build long-lasting business relationships with core team of contractors to work on various on-going and new projects.
ProAcumen Ltd is a software development company based in Henley-on-Thames. It uses contractors, who work remotely, to help develop a wide range of bespoke systems. Most recently these have included a Property Management/Booking system, a Questionnaire/Forms submissions system, an Energy Consumption analysis system and a Content Management System for an NHS Trust.
