Freelance Web Designer
posted on 14/2/2008Role: talented Web Graphic Designer with strong CSS, HTML/XHTML, W3C and Web 2.0 skills to work on a project by project basis leading to long term contract / retainer / permanent role. We are looking for a Freelance Graphical Web Designer who can make projects stand out as having exceptional design.
You: Do you have a passion for Web design and usability, with a proven track record of outstanding results within high traffic consumer facing sites? Your graphical skills will be outstanding (Photoshop, Fireworks) with an eye for simplicity and finesse, you will be a master of complex interoperable CSS, but your real skill will be the subtle mix of design, layout and UI that creates a truly great user experience, whilst delivering great results. A master of the nuances that effect visitor behavior, you will have a desire to steer the sites toward award winning results. You may be experienced in A/B testing and understand evidence based methodologies. You will be mindful of W3C and experienced in delivering accessibility and cross platform interoperability (Browser/Mobile etc). CMS experience in a .NET environment that is highly sensitive to SEO would be an advantage.

You will work remotely, visit our base in the West Midlands or meet with our London based management.
