Web Application Developer Requiredposted on 21/5/2008I am looking for an experience developer to take a working prototype site to the next level. The site is currently developed in ASP with an MS Access database. Although the next version will also use an MS Access database it must be developed with likelihood that it will move to SQL sometime in the future. There are a number of must have requirements that are worth mentioning at this point, and any applicant would be expected to be fully conversant with an approach to the list below. 1.The design should be separated from the data and therefore easy to change for each user. i.e A ‘template’ overlay system should be coded to allow this to be the case. 2.Certain sections of the site must be fully secure, accessed using a username and password. 3.It should be possible for section / pages of the site to be added dynamically by the administrators. 4.Security must be handled via users being members of user groups. It should be possible for administrators to add user groups dynamically, and then assign their access rights to the various ‘dynamically’ created sections / pages. The site is actually fairly basic in what it does but the prototype is thought of as the ‘core system’ as time goes on it must be easily possible to add ‘modules’ to the core system to enhance the functionally. Broadly speaking what the system does is list and make available for download documents and financial information to users of the site. If you are interested in this project please reply with experience and examples of completed web application projects. I am not looking necessarily to get this done ‘on the cheap’ although of course price is a consideration. More importantly I need an experienced developer who can deliver. We are no longer accepting applications for this project. |
