Website Developer Wanted
posted on 24/7/2008Rapidly growing design agency based in the Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham is looking for
a talented and passionate freelance web developer/web designer who will
join our team for two to five days a week (negotiable).
You will require the following:
- General all-round knowledge of the internet with the ability to demonstrate ‘Best Practice’.
- Extensive knowledge of HTML, XHTML/CSS,
- Ability to write basic PHP, JavaScript with Perl ability a bonus.
- Be proficient in Adobe Software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Flash, Dreamweaver),
- Able to work on location
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Converting Photoshop/Illustrator designs into W3C compliant XHTML/CSS,
- Preparing or modifying PHP code if needed (adding and handling forms, user management
systems, etc.),
- Writing scripts in JavaScript and adding JavaScript to HTML
Daily rate of pay is Negotiable based on Skills.
