Sorry - I had to laugh at this because this is exactly what I do.
So... sorry, no business for you here, I'm afraid. :-)
And I have to admit that the name 'winuser' would put me off in
itself, on the assumption that it's short for 'Windows user'. I'm a
Mac user and can usually spot web sites designed on a Wintel box
straight away (even if the pages aren't .htm or - God forbid - .asp).
I try to keep my world as close to a Microsoft free zone as possible,
though I don't quite succeed: I have, of course, to test my pages in
IE, and I keep an elderly version of Word (5.1) for reading .doc
files that people insist on throwing at me (yes, I have the
converters for more recent versions). I also have a nasty Dell thing
here on my left so that I can check how stuff looks on there - but I
wash my hands when I've used it.
