Skills summary on Freelancers.net

Afternoon,

Could someone give me a rough idea of what the different headings mean in
the profile wizard (as regarding where the skill was aquired). I've
worked for web houses for the past 3 years, but most of my skills were
picked up off my own back. Now, I've put quite a few of them down as
"hands-on", even though it was in a corporate enviroment.

Is that good, bad? Does it make that much of a difference? Why do I ask
so many questions? What is the secret of eternal happiness?
