Time to stop reading quietly and speak up!
Hi there, firstly thanks to freelancers for this excellent forum - it =
means the likes of me (just starting out) can pick all your minds.
Which brings me on to my question.
I've been designing and maintaining websites for a company for about 3 =
years now and am just starting to dabble in freelance work mainly =
through friends, but I have little idea of what to charge people for =
sites. I use mostly asp and flash to make my sites using visual =
interdev.
I have a meeting tomorrow to discuss one such site and would like to =
have some idea of how to price a site.
I will be doing eveything from registering the domain and sorting out =
hosting, to all the design and imaging.
Should I be quoting for the job or by an hourly rate?? and how do I make =
myself competitive but not out of pocket??
Any advise on these matters would be greatly appreciated
Richard Fuller
