FWIW I do my page design with Dreamweaver and do the back end database
integration stuff with Interdev. I think that that gives a good, strong
combination.

I have to agree with Martin, although Dreamweaver can create good code it is
still not ideal, even after asking it to clear up nested tags. I am only
using V2.0 at the moment as my boss has pinched...

u ever compared a hand coded page to one done by dreamweaver or the like?
one guess as to which one would be bigger... it's not that rapid web
development apps have no place, they're a great timesave...

what produces bloated code? Dreamweaver - don't think so - FrontPage does
(even FP2K). I've found DW very slick and combined with HomeSite (on the PC)
it is wicked for cleaning code and validating it...
