Quick Answer Anyone? - Javascript Variable Passing

Guys,

I've been used to processing HTML forms with PHP. If I have a form using the
post method to pass its content to another page. How do I refer to the form
variables on that second page? I'm used to using $varName in PHP, but that
doesn't seem to work. The older JavaScript way of doing it would be to use a
get and request setup, but how does it handle the POST?

Make sense?
