joining forces

Evening,

This is sounding good, I think we're on to something here *:)

As far as chat rooms go, could we base it round a system some of us might
already use? I'm thinking along the lines of IRC or ICQ? There might be
some security or privacy issues involved with going down this route though.

It's been a while since I played around with either of the above, anyone
with more experience or info on the list?
