6) REMARKS

I attended Paarl Boys High School 1990 - 1994, while doing a year of
informal art at Paarl art Collage
( 1994 ).After that t attended the AAA school of Advertising ( 1995-1996
)
where I was taught the basics of Design,Advertising, Typography and
history'' of art. I then Attended Art Directors Workshop ( 1996-1998 )
where
I majored in Graphic Design as well as the basics of Publishing and
Advertising.
After successfully completing collage I freelanced for Netscope ( 1998 )
where I was introduced to Flash 3. I also did freelance design work for
various businesses ( 1998 - 1999 ). Namely Gas Freeze Refrigeration,
Kelkiewyn Restaurant, Comsure Insurance brokers, Finmar Insurance
Brokers,
Mamma Roma Restaurant , La Romantica restaurant and Cellular Madness.
During
my time of employment at these various companies I stiil did freelance
design work, as refered to in refrences. During this time I was using
programs like freehand, Quark and Photoshop versions on the PC, to keep
the
skills I was taught in collage, up to par.
