Not sure what your problem is here, Vratislavf8/f22 are usually described as the *minimum* apertures, not maximum. Maximum apertures are usually something like f2.8 or even f1.8.
Depth of field is not usually a problem with modern cameras; are you trying to photograph something extremely deep, or do you do a lot of close-ups? I'd have thought that f8 would give enough depth of field, (at average distances) for normal photography. What problem do you have with depth of field?
