FN-FORUM - Head scratching...
date posted 18th July 2000 16:27
Hi,
I've got client that wants to offer a selection of products online. There is
no online ordering as such (i.e. c/c transactions) but purely (as I
deciphered it) as list of 150 products in a form which you can select each
or any of the items.
He wants a simple form that gets populated while a web site visitor selects
their products, when the visitor has completed their "simple" order they can
view the order that will display the following for each product selected
part number, description, quantity, price and accumulative total and then a
Grand total of the order, this form is then e-mailed to the client, the
client will then contact the web site visitor for payment etc.
I'm alright on the cgi right up to the point where the items need to be
added up. Has anybody done anything like this before or has any scripts that
I could adapt?
My client doesn't really want a database as he knows it gonna cost.
Any suggestions?
