Hi,
Many thanks to people who answered my earlier questions.=20
does anyone here use ColdFusion? want to build a database driven site =
and CF sounds tempting 'cos of it's simplicity - apparently I wouldn't =
need to know any VB script - as I would with ASP.
The main drawback seems to be the price. Would I need to buy all their =
kit? I mean would I need to install their server software on my machine =
to build and test or do they offer a cut-price test version? How =
important is CF Studio - or is Homesite good enough?
How easy is it to find CF hosting and is it more expensive than other =
flavours (NT/Unix)?
(sure I could check the Allaire site but I suspect their answer would be =
yes you need to buy everything!)
cheers,
gerri
