Hate to tell you this Morgan but my understanding is that you're going to
have to reinstall to be able to get to older versions of IE. When you
install IE5 you do get the option to keep IE4 installe...

hmm, can you put a partition on your hard drive so that you have a
dual-boot thing set up? that way you can install the old browsers
on one operating system and the new one on your NT4

I've just checked the site using Win98v2/IE5/16 bit colour and all pages (I
could get to) were fine. I also tried it at 256 colours and it was still
fine.
Maybe the client means the background...
