Hi everyone.

I'm having a big problem with a simple asp script that I'm hoping some asp
expert can help me with.

The Problem:
I'm using UltraDev (probably very badly) to simply update an Access
database. It's kind of a diary that let's my client know who has booked a
seminar place on what day. Take a look at

On the front page you choose your date (only 17/10/2000 is working right
now). It then jumps to a page (17102000.asp) that displays who is registered
for a seminar and in what slot - no problems here. By hitting add a place,
the page 17102000submit.asp is brought up.

This is where I'm running into difficulty. I want the user to select a
place number using the drop-down menu (which is a dynamic list/menu object
drawing data from the database), enter a name in the text box, and bish bash
bosh the database accepts their name next to the correct place number.

Can I get it to work - No, Nope and Neigh.

Any suggestions, references to tutorials etc. (tried help files, macromedia
site and a load of others to no avail)
