Attention - warning

This is to warn anyone who might have seen an ad for high-spec laptops (Sony
Vaio X29) through Loot online or the hard-copy this week and is thinking
about following it up.

A friend of mine phoned the seller who agreed to meet her at Waterloo
station to do the deal. I warned her it didn't seem like a good idea, but
she went ahead.

The guy grabbed her bag with the money in and ran. He was pursued but not
caught.

She went to the police of course, but is now very much poorer, and without
her filofax but fortunately not injured and had her credit cards and other
money in her pocket. He may have been caught on cctv on the station.
