$ENV{'HTTP_REFERER'}

date posted 1st December 2000 17:05

Ive found what seems to be the trouble or rather I have found out what seems
to be going wrong. IM just at a total loss as to what it all means.

Everything worked fine when called from a standard html page etc, but the
script that I am writing is called from another script and the output for
$ENV{'HTTP_REFERER'} was always blank.

I changed the link within the 1st script that calls the 2nd script to that
of the env.cgi that Mr(s) Anon posted to the list and instead of a
$ENV{'HTTP_REFERER'} environment scalar variable I seem to be it, but
getting it with a lisp

HTTP_WEFERER ----> QTIPWIGYOKSTTZRCLBDXRQBGJSNBOHMKHJYFMYXOEAI

Does anyone know what the hell that is ? And why the server has decided to
make itself a new environment variable. Im probably more lost now than I
ever was on this so any help would be very very very greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
