IPS tags only apply to .uk domains, if this is the case than aslong as you
are the registrant then you can go directly to Nominet to make the changes.
If it is an International domain then the important point is who is the
"admin contact". If it is you (as it should be if the original registrar
was doing their job properly) then you will be able to make ammendments
yourself.
Check out the following URL:
http://www.geektools.com/cgi-bin/proxy.cgi
and enter your domain name. Somewhere in the result it should list the
authorative registrar. Assuming that you are the admin contact then you can
then go to their site and use the online forms to update the domain. In the
case of a dispute then you will need to contact the correct Registrar, I
just hope for your sake that it is not Network Solutions, as they're not the
most helpful of companies.
