Nick
I would have to second this request/query. I am tinkering with an idea to
create a slideshow-type Flash movie which will be controlled a frame at a
time by the user. That aspect doesn't pose any major headaches even for my
ability level. However, what I seek to achieve is for the user to be able to
click on any chosen thumbnail image which will then open up a larger version
in a new window using a rather neat image hugging Dreamweaver behaviour
called JustSo.
Thus far, I have bodged my way to a very clunky and unsatisfactory solution
which can be seen at http://www.swill.co.uk/flashtest/test.html . On
clicking on the thumb a GetUrl action is called which opens up a new htm doc
with the JustSo function in turn called for onLoad. I've tried editing the
GetUrl action within Flash to try and bypass the 'need' for this go-between
new window; as yet without success. I've also tried inserting a self.close()
into the go-between without the desired result as well; yet.
I shall continue to seek a solution but hope someone out there might be able
to give me a 'leg-up'. Perhaps this FS Command option is the way, but like
Morgan, don't know anything/much about them yet.
