Hi Luke,

I can't recommend anything about ASP but if you are going to get into web
development you could do worse than investigating PHP, its a scripting
language similar in function to ASP but it's open source and non Microsoft.
Take a look at www.php.net and www.phpuk.net for resources.

Cheers,
Alex.

Subject: FN-FORUM ASP books

Dear 'lancers!

Just a quick question - as a designer I have up until now stayed clear of
most 'web development' aspects however I feel the time is now right to
embark upon some ASP . Can anyone suggest a good book on this bearing in
mind I am a beginner??

Cheers,
Luke Miller

PS Any suggestions (design-wise or otherwise) for my new site below would
be very much
appreciated.
