A Database/internet question

I was just sat wondering if there is a better way to do this. I have an
access database with several tables all interlinked. I do not want to give
people the option to create new records (well not in this one anyway) just
be able to search from it and obviously view the results on a web page.

I was thinking maybe ASP/Interdev, is this a good approach.

Also as a little question on the same subject, one of the fields is an
OLE/picture field. Has anyone ever automatically created a link from such a
table entry.

I look forward to peoples opinions on this. TIA
