YO i use bitstream font navigator 3 (comes free on loads of disks)
sounds similar to the font thing (below)
works fine on win 2000

try adobe type manager - ive not had chance to use it fully yet, but since
you can choose to make certain fonts 'invisible' for a time, there ought to
be something you could use there

You should be able to get an AT case with PSU for not much more than a
tenner. The fan should be quieter being newer, so just transplant everything
into there - problem solved for less than 20 quid....

Er I wouldn't recommend it because that fan not only cools the PSU, it draws
air in the front of the case and expells it out the back therefore cooling
all components.......
