Here's a smart answer:
I think your problem is that you are using director, whereas you'd be better
off with Flash.
Director stinks of the nineties (objections anyone?) and would have been
killed long ago were macromedia not so proud of their CD-ROM authoring tool
"flagship". One day maybe they'll admit that the little web animation tool
they bought a few years ago uses a better approach to web design, and
director will be binned.
What's a CD-ROM, dad? Is it like the internet, but older?
jeez, get with the program, the program is Flash.

PS Yes, as I have said before, most Flash users are f***wits, and give Flash
a bad name. But then if you can't even get a rollover to work in Director...
