Macwarehouse is probably the most reasonable new but if you look at
www.macuser.co.uk (or buy the magazine) look in the classified and they do
some good secondhand macs that'll do the job.

Personally I'd go down the route of finding a mate who works on Macs and
then ask them nicely to check it for you......
