RE: FN-FORUM ultradev shopping cart
date posted 1st February 2001 10:14
Back to the land of the living for me.. Wow.. reallly over rated.
Ok. I have got to the stage now where I can click and ADD to cart button but
then its the whole showing the cart thing thats confusing me. At present I
have a page that shows the first thing clicked on and thats it.
Emailing the orders I will attempt to crack at a later stage. I just
realised that the whole point of me doing this website was to earn money
whilst working but if people can't just click a button you miss out on a lot
of clients as well as the potentil "i'll just get it now" people.
Any help welcomed :-)
Mark

I had the same problem in creating a shopping cart with powerclimb, however
after a lot of head scratching it works at www.rajtakeaway.co.uk
What do you need to know?
I started by downloading the extension and also the demo cart. Install this
first (I know its a balls ache) and get it running to get the feel. Then
just apply this cart theory to your own cart. It's not that hard until it
comes to emailing your orders. However, I cracked it with cdo mail and a
bit of coding, but don't worry about that bit yet. The powerclimb help ain't
that good.
anymore troubles just ask
