thank you for your comments - you are right in that it looks better if it is
all contained in the same window, although i'm not sure what you mean by
slow - the opening movie takes 6 seconds to load and all following options
take 2-3 seconds - and by any web standard - thats pretty fast
The only reason that I like to maximise the window is that I am aiming to
produce a CD-Rom/Director type interface if you see what I mean (as opposed
to scrolling up and down)
I recall a heated debate on the subject of flash - I do not wish to start it
all over again, but I see the advantages of flash being taht you can create
large graphics without assosciated download times (because they are
vectors), and sophisticated fades and rollovers. Obviously large movies do
take a long time to download, so I would agree with you on that point - but
if you can overcome that (see above point) then bingo! And surely a good bit
of flash does capture viewers attention?
Still - I appreciate the comments and invite more - the forms still don't
work yet mind
