Re: FN-FORUM Yell

I imagine a great deal of the hits per day are marketing co.s and other web
designers checking out the local competition...
We get most of our business word-of-mouth, through reputation, and via
agencies we also take ads in the local Community News and have a reciprocal
agreement with a company where we do some graphic design work for them and
they give us ads in their books in exchange, these books get to about 12000
people over the space of a year - this works well and we get a couple of
enquiries per publication. We do not advertise in Yell etc. because I feel
that we would probably get more marketing calls and timewasters than
anything.
What about web design/graphic design mags, has anyone ever had any business
from advertising in he back of those?
