What's the best way of creating 3D animations in Flash

Hi,
Does anyone have any advice on how to get started with 3D animation in
Flash?
I understand that Vecta3d is a good program, but will this create a 3D
animation from scratch.
A client as ask if it's possible to animate some technical drawings as
wireframes in a 3D format.
I would like to keep costs down if possible (will help to increase
profits!!) so if I can do this without purchasing another program then that
would be ideal.
Are there any good freeware programs around?
Any advice will be much appreciated.
