Isn't it also that webmail addresses show nothing about their bona fides ...
anyone can set up a hotmail/excite/geocities/FREE mail or site ... as
someone looking to get paid we need to know they can be tracked which (for
me) often means that I can trace their NIC details with checkable info

I don`t think its AOL Users in general that he is questioning, but more the
ease in which you can create and delete an AOL Email account without being
traced. But then again you can do that with most free email providors to.
