to be honest peter i cant see too many hosting companies fully implementing
asp.net for that very reason.
asp is already a nice big security hole if you know what your doing (i
wonder how many hosting companies have removed the wsh dll? you can make a
page execute a series of keystrokes... hmmmm, lets see
f-o-r-m-a-t- -c-:...... real secure microsoft! i wont even try to guess at
how many companies havent switched off the access to parent directories in
IIS - watch me rewrite winnt.exe into a txt file!), being able to implement
your own objects without registering them is going to cause major trouble
should the occasional troublemaker decide to bring down a server - like
communism, its a nice idea ruined by the fact that there are lot of bastards
out there.
