Hi guys -
I'm looking at moving to a semi-rural area that doesn't have ADSL or cable
coverage, and the likelihood of having either service any time soon is
pretty remote. I've had ADSL for several months and going back to a 56k
modem would be a bit of a pain. I know that 2-way satellite access is now
available in the states, and I found a UK site (www.direcpc.co.uk) but they
only seem to offer satellite downlink and analogue uplink.
Are any of you guys aware of any other way of having a reasonable speed
connection without paying the earth?!
Appreciate any thoughts anyone has in this area.
Cheers
Kerry
