Try looking at Devshed.com for tutorials, though I would
recommend you start
with PHP rather than ASP while you're learning since it will
save you
messing around with MyODBC, which I understand is required
for ASP.

Depends where you host your site which you use and whether
you have a good server with the required bits on it, not
sure what the figures are for usage between PHP and ASP, not
that it matters from what I see PHP is doing much the same
job as ASP, certainly not had any trouble with ASP either
using SQL Server or Access 2000, and you can step up from
Access to SQL fairly easily. SQL the query language isn't
that hard and most of the books on ASP include a chapter on
it. I still recommend the Four Guys From Rolla starter book
for ASP and then there's a host of sites out there with the
advanced stuff on.
