RE: FN-FORUM Mac 2 PC
date posted 19th April 2001 13:22
The first problem is being able to actually *see* the file.
All to often I receive CD's, chuck them in the CD drive, and find there's
apparently no files on there.
Therefore, the first thing I'm after is some software that will allow me to
read the CD, and then converting it files to the appropriate formats
shouldn't be a problem, using PSP, Word, or whatever is appropriate
according to the format.
Cheers,
David

If I recall correctly, I have converted a Mac EPS file before. Although the
tranmission method was slightly different (Via a SCO Unix box) I managed to
load/import it using PSP6 and then save as JPG. It was a year or two ago, I
think the file came from Volvo.
If you want, you can mail it to me off list and I will see if I was correct
and offer any further help I can.

I'm not creating the files - I receive them... and am then presented with
the task of converting the files before I can use them.
They are not all image files, and I cannot necessarily control the format of
the files :-(

David
How are you creating the files? Are they all images? If you are using
Photoshop then save as mac and your pc should see the file as long as you
put the right file extension on.
