Many thanks for all the help.

Ian still thinks the VB installer may be overwriting older version of up to
7 system files. If you are worried about this, but wish to test the software
before I investigate further, he suggests that you download the UPDATE files
only (executable and help) from EasyCourseBuilder.com and install the VB6
runtime if you do not have it already from (watch the line wrap):
