IIS Server Set Up. questions

Just made an attempt at setting up IIS (normally I'm a Linux/apache kind of
guy)

how do I configure it to 'parse' server side includes? I don't have to
rename all the files to .shtml or anything do I?


also does any one no of an online guide to any security issues I should be
aware of?
