RE: FN-FORUM PC check please

date posted 25th April 2001 10:37

Thanks for the input everybody.

The strange thing is I did use CSS, but not redefining, just making new
style so i don't know why it looks bigger in browser, it doesn't matter if I
use points or pixels. Does the body text look a reasonable size?

The jagged edges on the images are from resizing in flash, I'll have to make
them the right size beforehand.

I'd also like to make the 'enter site' a rollover but I'm not sure how in
flash.

Thanks

If the text looks larger, why not use CSS. It is easy to do in DW and I just
redefine the td tag to have a certain number of *pixels*. I always use this
although the text looks different (smaller) in NN. I am going to write some
javascript to point to different style files dependent on browser which
should remedy the discrepancy.

However in saying that, I am confused when I do not see others employing
this as a way of controlling the look of text and therefore the whole
layout. So I may be wrong in employing CSS all the time.
