Hi Rich
Sorry for the late reply, been out of town.
The most stable format at the moment is RealMedia, if streamed properly
using rtsp protocol. You can also stream RelaMedia using http protocol, but
you loose some of the advanced features.
Windows Media provides better audio quality, but can at present not be
embedded on the page for use on a site aimed at Mac users.
Mpeg can be streamed using Bitcasting, but can not compete in quality per
bandwidth with the above formats.
QuickTime is still expensive to stream compared with the above formats and
also can not provide good audio quality at the lower bit rates.
Please let me know if you need more info.
Also look at my site (http://www.tripletechnology.com). More online examples
will be placed online by tomorrow.
Cheers
Willie
