Only running 9.00, but that works fine on a 2k box for me...
I haven't used it on '98, so I don't know if it runs faster on that, though.

I think the problem you will have on fasthosts is that they don't allow
you direct access to their mail server [pop3] so that you can automate
the setup of pop3 mail boxes.
