I quite like NN6, even though Bill G gave me letters after my name and a
nice little credit card thingy! If your code validates, NN6 usually
works (of course then NN4 doesn't but that's REALLY crap!)...

A good bit of software to use when messing with XML/XSLT is XMLSpy
As for XML parsers, if you are using it locally or on a NT hosted box you

check out www.sitemeter.com its a free hit counter but you can set the
background and text colours which allows you have it invisible on the page.
Best of all it comes free!

There is definitely a market for Web research creating listings for books
and magazines, even some search engines, though in my experience it isn't
very well paid, it's a bit like stuffing envelopes...
