RE: FN-FORUM Site crit dev.thompsonsystems.ws/eurocc

Neelesh Sonawane,
I am being harsh here (as requested), so please don't take it personally:
HOMEPAGE:
The eurocar bit at the top that refreshes should only refresh the text
showing the car values, not the whole top banner section.
The Autocar logo has a bit of graphic to the top right of the picture that
is onconsistent with the rest of the picture (i.e. airbrush it out).
Don't reload the text box (main one at bottom right) if the text inside is
staying the same, just change the picture of the person. Why do you need to
change the picture of the person in anycase?
What is the significance of the changing pictures of the cars? They do not
relate to the Mega Deals in any way and as such appear to be their just for
the sake of it. They are good pictures, but add a purpose to their changing
use.
The testimonials idea is always good and perhaps they do not have any
genuine testimonials as yet to allocate people's name and companies with
them, but in due course that would be a better thing to do. Further, an
actual page devoted to the testimonials may be better than having another
changing part on the homepage.
GET A QUOTE NOW:
return to dealers website picture is not available.
what's with the bifg space on the left-hand side of the page? Is there going
to be a navigation there?
I chose AUDI TT for the quote and there needs to be a space. It showed
"AUDIand TT" rather than "AUDI and TT"
Can you improve the quality of the pictures? What about having more pictures
from different angles of the same car, giving the consumer that much more
satisfaction and added value when visiting the site.
I clicked on standard information and I thought nothing had happened until I
relaised that it appeared below the picture. Perhaps opening it up in its
own box will help to reolve this problem.
The optional extras link in the blue box on the right-hand side is perhaps
out of place compared with the rest of the links that form the consistent
navigation. Perhaps having this as one of the links below the car picture
where "standard information" etc is may be more appropriate.
I didn't give my details for getting an instant quote.
When clicking on the link for manufacturers, the top header goes missing.
Also, when you click on the "Home" it does not work. This happens as soon as
you have chosen a car model.
I then got bored by the errors in this section and moved on (sorry....)
EVERYTHING ELSE:
fine
Please remember, these are only my views - feel free to use them all or use
none at all, but do not flame me for my invited opinions.
Oh and does the end tag ".ws" stand for websites? or world service?
