I can understand that, but I took the long term view. Over a period of
time, Secure Trading should work out cheaper. I have also heard bad things
about Worldpay. A friend of mine closed his online business because
visitors were entering made-up credit numbers. Worldpay was then debiting
these numbers and expecting my friend to pay!

Yes, but they take a huge percentage for acting as a bureau.

Maybe, but to be honest, I'd slag them off too. Oops. Already have.

And the increased costs over the long-term, plus lack of integration with
be-spoke shopping carts...
Plus I'm not entirely satisfied that the way they transfer data to their
secure server (by meta-refresh?) is entirely reliable.
