Re: FN-FORUM Site crit dev.thompsonsystems.ws/eurocc

Cheers, Strong points,
Forgot to mention that the quote system is um.. well not to bother critting
it. It's a bit long in the tooth and needs a complete overhaul and isn't
fully liked into the site yet.
The images reloading: the image, strap line and the car image all relate.
The site was a bit more spaced out and the three linked much better before
but the positioning by tables tended to create chunks of unwanted white
space which it still does but more so before. Do you not relate the three
elements (car, strapline and person)?
The client was persuaded into having the images change as an alternative to
some dumb flash animation for the sake of some dumb flash animation which is
what they were after (eak! I would say check their old site but that would
be nasty). I think it works well in keeping the user engaged in the site and
makes for a point of interest over most car import sites which usually have
a gratuitious splattering of whizzy cars and not much else. Incidentally the
'testimonials' are not really meant as testimonials but more as a device to
tap into an emotional response from the user... marketing shpeel sorry.
The Mega Deal has the flash animation reloading to draw the eye to the
change of the text.
The rest.. will be taken on board, again cheers.
Good wend.
