True, but what attracted me to the web about five or six years ago was that
anyone who did their homework could build a well-presented web site that
could attract the attention of thousands. This is generally much more
difficult to achieve using other media. It would be a shame if all of that
disappeared.
That said, it annoys the hell out of me that *anybody* can grab a copy of
frontpage and stick an ad in the local newspaper a few moments later
claiming that they are a "Web producer". And it annoys me even more that
people fall for it.
