first create a symbol of the earth on a layer using the weddings world map
as it is quite detailed. animate this moving across the screen. you'll have
to make sure the start and end points are the same.
then create a geodic mask (squashed circle) when you play this you will get
a reasonable globe. this is the concept. you can play as you see fit

anyone give me any pointers as to how to rotate a
symbol of the earth, as the earth spins..? and how
about an airbrush effect paint tool in flash is it
possible or do i have to import another symbol?
